Canadians Stole My Innocence
Wednesday 13th December 2006, 7 years since a young impressionable lad discovered the wonders of the Internet and all it had to offer. His mind (among other things) expanded, the wealth of knowledge at his fingertips was overwhelming.
Knowledge is power and power corrupts. And this particular corruption came in the infectiously dangerous flavour of (Post) Punk. With a polite nod towards Shawn Fanning and some belgian guy, the youngs boys aural horizons were broadened
Then he discovered Propagandhi, a canadian thrash-punk band, who’s harmonious angst-ridden purpose-built music gave him meaning….or at least something to shout along to when he was pissed off. But anyway back to the night in question.

CLIFF IS BACK. Cliff Richard, that is, with a rocking christmas song. For those of you who don’t know me at all…. I don’t know if i’m being sarcastic! I think I started talking about this song sarcastically but now I’m not sure, I think its a fairly safe bet he’ll be number 1, and it’s a hell of a lot better than his fantastic line up of rivals….
- Girls Aloud, still belting out some of the best produced shite available today, this time they’re covering the oh-so-tormenting Tiffany track “I Think We’re Alone Now”. Clever. They’ve already got every girl in the country under 14 on their side, couple that with a heady dose of 80′s Nostalgia (yes, with a capital N) and we’ve got a christmas we can readily forget….again.
- The Crazy Frog, oh yes, once again computer animated ringtone characters, amphibian anthropomorphic apotheosis, plague our fragile ears. Whats he doing this time? WHAM? Jesus, George. You can knock out some god awful “political commentary” and pretend to care about the greater international problem, but you’re backing this emotional terrorist?! Sort it out.
